The GermStop Disinfection Process
The first step in the process will be a meeting with your GermStop disinfection consultant! A complete walk-thru of rooms/areas to be disinfected will be done at this time. All high touch surfaces to be treated will be identified as well as any potential hazards that need to be addressed. Everything will be detailed for you in our comprehensive service agreement.

When the surface treatment is complete, our trained, certified technicians will apply our disinfecting protocol using an atomizing fogging system. The disinfectant product used by GermStop is:
On the EPA List N, the registry for products approved for use against SARS-CoV2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

Can be used on most common surfaces. Compatible with stainless steel, chrome, vinyl, nylon fabrics, laminated surfaces, glass, rubber, and hard & flexible plastics.
After the disinfecting process is complete and all surfaces have dried, we will apply a 90 day antimicrobial surface protectant. Though antimicrobial surface protectants are EPA registered, they are not on the LIST N registry for products approved for use against COVID-19. The protectant used by GermStop is effective against a variety of microbial contaminants and reduces the instances of microbial contamination by making a surface inhospitable for colonization. Benefits of an antimicrobial surface protectant include:
Water based formula that can be applied to any clean porous or non-porous surface.
Once dried, is durable, non-leaching, non-gassing, and non-toxic.
Effective against a number viruses, bacteria, molds, fungi and other microorganisms for up to 90 days. It is recommended that protection be applied more frequently in areas of high activity or frequent abrasion.
The GermStop disinfection service is solely intended to reduce risk and no meant to guarantee against any virus.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, GermStop recommends that everyone should:
Wash hands frequently using soap and water for 20 seconds, or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Wear a face covering when you are not able to maintain social distancing.
Avoid contact with people who are sick and stay home if you are unwell.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces daily.
Where Do You Need Disinfection?
